– BLOCK PARTY – The Rangers established a single-game season-high with 28 blocked shots in tonight’s contest and registered 14 blocked shots in the first period. Thirteen different Blueshirts recorded at least one blocked shot in the game.
– FIRST IN SCORE – The Blueshirts recorded the first goal of the game for the 24th time this season.
– SHOOTING GALLERY – New York recorded 32 shots on goal in tonight’s contest, as 15 of 18 skaters registered at least one shot on goal. The Rangers have registered 30 or more shots on goal in eight of the last 18 games, in nine of the last 20 contests, and in 27 of 53 games in 2017-18.
– HITTING MACHINE – The Rangers were credited with 30 hits in tonight’s game, and 14 of 18 skaters recorded at least one hit in the contest.

– Jesper Fast tied for the team-high with five hits in 16:26 of ice time.
– Kevin Hayes tied for the game-high with eight faceoff wins (8-for-14; 57.1%) and led Rangers forwards with 20:39 of ice time.
