HARTFORD, CT – The Wolf Pack (28-29-6-3, 65 pts., .492) played a trio of games against North Division opponents this past week and won two of the three, to improve to 8-4-3-0 in their last 15 games. The week began at home against Binghamton on Wednesday night, and the Wolf Pack pulled out a 4-3 overtime win over the Devils. John Gilmour’s second goal of the game, and 20th of the season, 2:20 into OT was the winner after Gilmour set a franchise record for defensemen with his 19th of the year earlier in the contest. On Friday night in Syracuse, the Wolf Pack battled back from a 3-0 deficit with third-period goals by Gabriel Fontaine and Vinni Lettieri, with Gilmour assisting on both, but the Crunch hung on for a 3-2 win. The Wolf Pack got back on the winning side of things Saturday night at Utica, as Ryan Gropp scored twice, and Adam Huska made 25 saves for his first pro win, in a 5-3 victory over the Comets.
