SHELLEY: SWAMP RABBITS SIGN TYRIQ OUTEN TO SPC

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits announced the team has signed goaltender Tyriq Outen to a Standard Player Contract on Wednesday.

Outen, a Tampa, FL native, signs with the Swamp Rabbits after a 2020-21 season that saw him appear in 35 games for the North American Hockey League’s Maine Nordiques. In Maine, Outen posted a 2.91 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage during the regular season.

With a 6-3 postseason record, Outen helped the Nordiques to a Robertson Cup Semifinal appearance in his final season of junior hockey.
