WOLF PACK WEEKLY: Oct 30-November 5, 2017
BY: Bob Crawford, Hartford Wolf Pack
HARTFORD, CT – The Wolf Pack (4-5-0-1, 9 pts., .450) battled through a second straight three-game weekend this past week, playing two of those games on the road. The busy stretch began with a 5-1 home loss to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Friday night, and then the Wolf Pack hit the road for their first visit of the season to Allentown, PA. That was where, on Saturday night, Hartford snapped a 0-3-0-1 drought, and put an end to a six-game Lehigh Valley win streak, with a 5-4 triumph over the Phantoms. Cole Schneider scored the game-winning goal with 1:43 left in the third period and had two assists, and Filip Chytil also had a goal and two helpers. The Wolf Pack then went on to Hershey on Sunday and dropped a tight 4-3 decision to the Bears, despite Steven Fogarty scoring his first two goals of the year.
