Among all players (skaters and goaltenders included), Lundqvist is now tied with Adam Graves for the 10th-most regular season appearances as a Ranger in franchise history (Lundqvist is the Rangers’ all-time leader in appearances by a goaltender). In addition, Lundqvist appeared in his 900th career game (regular season and playoffs combined) as a member of the Rangers in tonight’s contest (772 career regular season appearances and 128 career playoff appearances). Lundqvist also appeared in his 100th career NHL shootout in tonight’s game (57-43 career record in the shootout).

Kevin Hayes tallied a goal in the third period, recorded three shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. Hayes extended his point streak to four games (three goals, one assist), and he has registered a goal in each of the last two contests. He has also tallied five points (four goals, one assist) in the last seven games.

Jimmy Vesey registered a goal, recorded two shots on goal, and posted a plus-one rating. Vesey has tallied a point in each of the last two games (one goal, one assist) and in three of the last four games (one goal, two assists).

Nick Holden tallied a goal, was credited with two blocked shots and posted a plus-one rating in 23:06 of ice time. Holden has registered three points (one goal, two assists) in the last two games, and he is tied for second among Rangers defensemen in goals this season (two).

Paul Carey recorded an assist and posted a plus-one rating. Carey has registered three points (two goals, one assist) in the last two games. In addition, he has notched six points (two goals, four assists) and has posted a plus-five rating in eight games against Metropolitan Division opponents this season.

David Desharnais notched an assist, won nine of 13 faceoffs (69.2%), and posted a plus-one rating. Desharnais has notched three assists/points in the last two games, five assists/points in the last five games, and 10 points (one goal, nine assists) in the last 11 games. Desharnais is tied for third on the Rangers in even strength assists in 2017-18 (13).

Chris Kreider registered an assist, led all skaters with four hits, and recorded three shots on goal. He has recorded a point in four of the last five games (one goal, three assists), and he has registered 12 points (six goals, six assists) in the last 15 games. Thus far this season, 16 of Kreider’s 21 points have either been a goal or the primary assist on a goal.

Pavel Buchnevich tallied an assist in tonight’s contest. Buchnevich has recorded 14 points (six goals, eight assists) in the last 20 games, and he is tied for second on the Rangers in points this season (24).

Brendan Smith registered an assist and posted a plus-one rating. Smith has posted a plus-eight rating over the last nine contests.

Mika Zibanejad tallied a goal in the shootout, led all skaters with 10 faceoff wins (10-for-17; 58.8%), and led the Rangers with four shots on goal in 18:50 of ice time.
