Swamp Rabbits join the hockey community in support of the Humboldt Broncos after a tragic accident last night

GREENVILLE, SC – After the tragic bus accident involving the Humboldt Broncos, the Swamp Rabbits are joining in the fundraising efforts. Fans can immediately give back to the families of players affected through a GoFundMe fundraiser created by Humboldt resident Sylvie Wellington who has been in contact with the organization.
The Swamp Rabbits organization is also in the process of creating a fundraising initiative to raise money for the Broncos. More details will be announced on SwampRabbits.com, as well as Facebook and Twitter.
Tonight, the Swamp Rabbits and Atlanta Gladiators will observe a moment of silence for the victims, survivors, and families connected to the crash before the game. Those in attendance will also be asked to join together in singing the Canadian National Anthem at the Infinite Energy Arena. Proceeds from a post-game jersey auction and a pair of team signed sticks will benefit the Broncos’ fundraising efforts at https://twitter.com/hashtag/prayforhumboldt?src=hashwell.
