HARTFORD MAYOR LUKE BRONIN TO DISCUSS HARTFORD WOLF PACK AND XL CENTER

HARTFORD, CT – The Hartford Wolf Pack and the City of Hartford will host a press conference tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2nd, at 11:30 a.m. at the XL Center in downtown Hartford. Hartford Mayor Luke Bronin will be joined by Wolf Pack VP of Business Operations Erik Hansen and Hartford Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Julio Concepcion.

The press conference will be held inside the main atrium of the XL Center. Media can access this by entering the main entrance of the building, located on Trumbull Street.

The Wolf Pack are currently amid their first Calder Cup Playoff appearance since 2015. The club swept the defending Eastern Conference Champion Springfield Thunderbirds 2-0 in their Atlantic Division First Round series. The Wolf Pack hold a 2-0 edge in their best-of-five Atlantic Division Semifinals series against the Providence Bruins.

With a victory on Wednesday night, the Wolf Pack can advance to the Atlantic Division Final for the first time since 2015. In the event of a victory, the Wolf Pack would face either Hershey Bears or the Charlotte Checkers.

The puck drop for Game Three on Wednesday night is set for 7:00 p.m. Should the Bruins force a Game Four, it will be held in Hartford at the XL Center on Friday, May 5th, at 7:00 p.m.
