According to the CTWhale and the AHL website, Jeff Prough has been recalled from the Greenville Road Warriors.
Best guess is Friday night’s injury against the Portland Pirates that took down forward Andres Thuresson and that Head Coach Ken Gernander spoke of in his post-game press conference Saturday night and that caused him to miss Saturday’s game against Springfield must require more down time than originally expected.
Also, the Whale’s game tomorrow, Tuesday, February 28 and that has an 11am face-off , wiill be broadcast on “Beethoven Radio” WCCC-AM 1290
