Former Hartford Wolf Pack forward Nigel Dawes was traded by the New York Rangers out to the Phoenix Rangers Coyotes. Dawes was traded along with Petr Prucha to ex-Pack GM Don Maloney’s team where both will get consistent and regular ice-time. In the past couple of seasons, Maloney has taken Al Montoya, Craig Weller, Garth Murray, Dylan Reese, Francis Lessard, and Alex Bourret.
Other ex-Pack that were on the move today include forward Dominic Moore who was sent from Toronto to Buffalo for a second and Lawrence Nycholat who was picked up on waivers yesterday and then traded to Colorado.
