SHELLEY: RAUHAUSER SIGNS PTO WITH AHL STOCKTON

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Greenville Swamp Rabbits defenseman Alec Rauhauser has signed a professional tryout with the Stockton Heat, AHL affiliate of the Calgary Flames.

Rauhauser, 26, has appeared in 12 games for the Swamp Rabbits during his second season as a professional. Over those 12 games, Rauhauser is tied for the team lead in scoring amongst defensemen with five points on one goal and four assists.

The Heat is preparing for a pair of road games against the Tuscon Roadrunners on Friday night.

The Swamp Rabbits travel to the state of Florida to take on the Jacksonville Icemen on Friday at 7:00 p.m. before traveling to Duluth, GA, to face-off with the Atlanta Gladiators ahead of the teams’ meeting in Greenville on Sunday afternoon.
