GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, announced today that the club had signed defenseman Bradley Lalonde to a contract.
Lalonde, 24, joins the Swamp Rabbits amidst his third season with Concordia University in U Sports, where he amassed six points (1g, 5a) in eight games. In 73 career games for the collegiate side, the Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, Quebec native, tallied 48 points on 16 goals and 32 assists.
Before his collegiate tenure, the 6’1″, 216-pound right-hander appeared for three clubs in the QMJHL, including Baie-Comeau Drakkar, Cape Breton Screaming Eagles, and the Victoriaville Tigres, totaling 179 points (49g, 130a) in 312 career games.
Greenville takes to the road for a trio of games against the Norfolk Admirals beginning Friday at 7:30 p.m. in Norfolk.
