GREENVILLE S.C – Despite an early goal from Austin Eastman, the Greenville Swamp Rabbits fell 3-1 to the Florida Everblades on Friday night at Bon Secours Wellness Arena.
Greenville needed just 1:52 of the game to take the 1-0 lead as Ayden MacDonald carried the puck down the wing and fed a pass to Austin Eastman, who tipped the puck into the back of the net for his first professional goal. Florida responded at 3:44 as John McCarron scored his 15th of the season by tipping a shot into the Greenville goal.
In the second, Florida’s Jake McLaughlin sniped a puck from the right-side circle for his third goal of the season, a goal he was denied moments prior when he hit the left post.
