IF AT FIRST YOU DON’T SUCCEED…

Image003The Kat Deluna concert this past Wednesday night didn’t quite work out as planned due to technical problems, but Northland AEG and The Wolf Pack are to be commended for a noble effort in trying to add something a little different to make the hockey experience better.

The organization however, was not discouraged and has decided to try again. This time they are using a performer in Drew Seeley, from “High School Musical”, who is far more familiar to parents of young children. The organization also chose to do the concert on a better night when they also have the Guida’s Family Value Night package available. The “GFVN” package includes tickets to the game, hot dogs or pizza slices, sodas and a Wolf Pack souvenir and it’s for as low as just $39 per family.

Here is the official announcement.

HARTFORD, Northland AEG announced today that the Hartford Wolf Pack’s home game Friday, March 28th at the XL Center vs. the Worcester Sharks will feature a special appearance by Drew Seeley, from the High School Musical Concert Tour, brought to you by Radio Disney and Coca-Cola.

Seeley will perform an in-game concert during the game’s first intermission, and will also sing the National Anthem and drop the ceremonial first puck. Then, after the game, he will conduct a “meet and greet” session, to which fans are encouraged to bring their cameras. The meet and greet is open to all ticket-holders at the game.

Here are a couple of his hits…The first, “Breaking Free: is from “High School Musical” and the second is his hit “Dance With Me” from “The Cheetah Girls 2” movie. Trust me, young kids love this stuff…
