nyr The Rangers released a listing of who’s been invited to training camp. No real surprises except for the name of Kyle McLaren, who the Wolf Pack saw last season as a member of the Worcester Sharks. In all likelihood, McLaren will be living and playing in the Connecticut capital for much of the season. When you see that he is 6’4” and 219 pounds and he likes to drop the mitts, it just reinforces the theory that much more that this season’s Wolf Pack roster will be comprised of the hardest hitting and toughest team that has ever laced them up in the “Insurance Capital of the World.”

Mitch Beck

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
