Here’s the official release:
TKACZUK RETURNS TO CHECKERS FROM AHL CALL-UP
Ex-NHLer Back In Charlotte After Month Long Loan
Charlotte Checkers general manager and head coach Derek Wilkinson announced today that forward Daniel Tkaczuk has been returned to the team from the American Hockey League’s Hartford Wolf Pack.
Tkaczuk, 30, was loaned to the AHL’s Syracuse Crunch on Dec. 6 where he spent three games and was held pointless. He was then loaned to the Rochester Americans for seven games, collecting two assists, before heading to Hartford for two contests.
The former member of the NHL’s Calgary Flames had 18 points (6g, 12a) in 12 games with the Checkers before being loaned to Syracuse, including a three-goal, two-assist performance on Nov. 26 against Gwinnett.
