TOMORROW’S GAME:
The Rangers will face-off against the Toronto Maple Leafs tomorrow at
Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their 2010-11 regular season home
opener. The Blueshirts currently rank fourth in the Atlantic Division
standings, and 10th in the Eastern Conference, with a record of 1-1-0 (2
pts). The Rangers enter tomorrow’s contest having been defeated by the
New York Islanders, 6-4, on Monday at Nassau Coliseum. The Maple Leafs
enter the contest with a 3-0-0 (6 pts) record to rank first in the
Eastern Conference. Following tomorrow’s contest, the Rangers return to
action on Monday, Oct. 18, when they will face-off against the Colorado
Avalanche at Madison Square Garden (7:00 p.m.), in their first match-up
against a Western Conference opponent this season.
