FIRST “ROAD WARRIORS LIVE” EPISODE IS ONLINE

Greenville Road WarriorsRay Schmitt, “The Voice of the Road Warriors,” hosted the first episode of “Road Warriors Live” last night at Quaker Steak and Lube in Greenville. The recorded show is now available in its entirety at www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com.

A great crowd turned out last night to join Schmitt, Road Warriors head coach Dean Stork, and the team’s leading goal scorer Brendan Connolly for the first taping of “Road Warriors Live.” For a half hour Schmitt and his guests recapped last weekend’s three-game sweep of the Florida Everblades, previewed the Road Warriors’ four games this weekend, and much more. For those who couldn’t make it out to the show the recorded version is archived in the media section of www.greenvilleroadwarriors.com. There are nine episodes of “Road Warriors Live” remaining this season. Recorded at Quaker Steak and Lube, 10 Chrome Drive in Greenville, “Road Warriors Live” is hosted by Ray Schmitt with Head Coach Dean Stork and a Road Warriors player as a guest. The show is taped from 7:00 to 7:30, and fans who come out to the live taping get to enjoy great food and drink specials, register to win free Road Warriors tickets, and even submit questions to the show’s guests. Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return to home ice on Thursday, November 18 to take on the Wheeling Nailers at 7:05 p.m. at the BI_LO Center. It will be the third Dollar Draught Thursday of the season with select fountain drinks and draught beers on sale for just $1! The Road Warriors will also be kicking off their Thanks for Giving weekend with a winter coat drive to benefit Salvation Army. Road Warriors fans are asked to bring new, or gently used, winter coats and those who donate will receive a buy-one-get-one ticket coupon to use at the December 14 home game.

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
