Greenville Road WarriorsROAD WARRIORS ANNOUNCE 2ND ROUND PLAYOFF DATES

GREENVILLE, SC The Greenville Road Warriors announced today the schedule for their best of seven Eastern Conference semifinals series against the Wheeling Nailers.

The Road Warriors and Nailers series is a match up of the first versus the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference. The Road Warriors advanced to the second round by defeating the eighth seed Elmira Jackals three games to one. Wheeling made it to the second round by defeating the fifth seed South Carolina Stingrays three games to one. Greenville and Wheeling played six times in the regular season, three in Greenville and three in Wheeling, with Greenville winning each game.

Following is the schedule for the series:

Thursday, April 14: Greenville vs. Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – BI-LO Center

Friday, April 15: Greenville vs. Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – BI-LO Center

Wednesday, April 20: Greenville at Wheeling at 7:05 p.m. – WesBanco Arena

Friday, April 22: Greenville at Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – WesBanco Arena

Saturday, April 23: Greenville at Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – WesBanco Arena *

Tuesday, April 26: Greenville vs. Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – BI-LO Center *

Wednesday, April 27: Greenville vs. Wheeling at 7:35 p.m. – BI-LO Center *

* = games will be played if necessary

Individual tickets for the Eastern Conference semifinals are on sale right now at all Ticketmaster outlets and start at $9. The BI-LO Center Box Office will begin selling individual tickets on Monday, April 11 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted tickets and preferred seating based on availability. Groups can book their outing by calling a Road Warriors representative at 864-674-PUCK.

Mitch Beck

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
