GAME 7 IN GREENVILLE FILLED WITH EX-WHALE

The Connecticut Whale were well represented in Game Seven of the Greenville Road Warriors and Wheeling Nailers.

Granted Greenville is the Whale’s ECHL team, but both teams have a few names familiar to Connecticut fans.

Greenville: Chris McKelvie, Chris Chappell, Marc-Olivier Vallerand, Brandon Wong, Sam Klassen, Lee Balwin, Brendan Connolly, Andrew Carroll, Blake Parlett,

Wheeling: Dave Urqhuart, Paul Crowder

Paul Crowder (1g, 3a) had the go-ahead goal for the Nailers and it’s Brendan Connolly (1g, 1a) who tied the game with 22.9 seconds left in regulation. But a turnover leads to a Chris Kushneriuk (1g, 3a) and Joey Haddad (2g, 2a) 2-on-1 goal in overtime past Nic Riopel (21 saves) and the Greenville season comes to a close.
