GREENVILLE, SC – With the Greenville Road Warriors about to embark on a season-long seven-game road trip they announced today that they will hold their first away game watch party of the season on Wednesday, November 30 at Bailey’s Sports Grille.
Bailey’s Sports Grille, located on Lauren’s Road, will host the first viewing party of the season at 7:00pm on Wednesday, November 30 when the Road Warriors visit the Kalamazoo Wings in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Rowdy the Road Hog will be on hand to entertain the crowd, Road Warriors prizes will be given away, and Bailey’s will be offering up Wicked Wednesday specials including $2 Yuengling drafts.
Throughout the 2011-12 season, when the Road Warriors are away from Greenville, fans can head to Bailey’s (2409 Laurens Rd.) or Ford’s Oyster House and Cajun Kitchen (631 S. Main St. Downtown Greenville) to see their team on the big screens. Both locations will be showing every Road Warriors away game this season so you don’t have to miss a minute of the action! All Road Warriors games are broadcast live on America One and the “Voice of the Road Warriors” Ray Schmitt has the call of the action.
Ford’s Oyster House and Cajun Kitchen is also your location for “Between the Pipes,” the Road Warriors’ weekly radio show that also airs live on ESPN 1440 AM. The show is hosted from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. live at Ford’s by Ray Schmitt and he is joined each week by Road Warriors head coach Dean Stork and players from the team. “Between the Pipes” will not take place on November 21 and 28 due to the Thanksgiving holiday and the team’s travel schedule. The show will resume on Monday, December 5.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return home to face the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday, December 8 at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center. Come out for the Road Warriors’ Throwback Thursday which features $2 draft beers, fountain drinks, pretzels and hot dogs, and $6 tickets for college students with a valid ID. Throwback Thursdays are sponsored by WSSL 100.5, The Greenville News, and New Rock 93.3.
