The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that forward Andrew Rowe has been reassigned to the team by the Philadelphia Flyers from the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
Rowe comes to Greenville after beginning his second professional season with the Phantoms. In Adirondack he has posted three goals and an assist in 14 games. His most recent goal on January 20th against Albany was his first game winner of the season. Including his rookie season, Rowe has 16 points (10G, 6A) and 24 penalty minutes in 69 games with the Phantoms.
As a rookie last season Rowe, a 6-2, 180-pound winger, earned eight points (6G, 2A) in 10 regular season games with the Road Warriors. He went on to skate in 11 Kelly Cup playoff games for Greenville and notched 6 points (3G, 3A).
Rowe is expected to be in the lineup when the Road Warriors take on the Florida Everblades tonight at 7:30 p.m. at Germain Arena.
