HARTFORD, September 26, 2018: Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Chris Drury announced today that the Wolf Pack has signed forward Shawn O’Donnell to an American Hockey League contract.
O’Donnell, a sixth-year pro, has skated in 129 games with the Wolf Pack over parts of four seasons, including one game in 2017-18. In his Wolf Pack career, the 6-1, 192-pound O’Donnell has contributed seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points, while serving 208 minutes in penalties.
In addition to his one Wolf Pack outing last season, O’Donnell logged 46 games with the ECHL’s Cincinnati Cyclones. His 19 goals were good for a tie for fourth among Cyclone skaters, and O’Donnell also added 25 assists for 44 points, along with 26 penalty minutes.
A 30-year-old native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, O’Donnell has suited up for 135-career AHL games with the Wolf Pack and the Milwaukee Admirals, totaling seven goals and 11 assists for 18 points, plus 220 penalty minutes.
