SHELLEY: (11/28) RUSSELL RETURNS TO SWAMP RABBITS

GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits announce defenseman Bobby Russell has been returned to the team from loan with the Ontario Reign of the American Hockey League.

Russell, 21, returns to the Swamp Rabbits after appearing in one game for the Reign against the Abbotsford Canucks on December 1, earning his first career AHL point with an assist.

In his seven games in Greenville, Russell is tied for the most points by a defenseman with four points on two goals and two assists.

The Swamp Rabbits take to the road on Friday and Saturday nights to take on the South Carolina Stingrays at the North Charleston Coliseum before returning home to Bon Secours Wellness Arena on Sunday afternoon to face the Stingrays at 3:05 p.m.
