GREENVILLE, S.C. – The Greenville Swamp Rabbits, proud ECHL affiliate of the Florida Panthers, announced today that the club had signed forward Ayden MacDonald from Brock University.
MacDonald, 25, joins the Swamp Rabbits after appearing in seven games for the Brock University Badgers of USports, totaling eight points (3g, 5a) during that span. In his previous three seasons with the Badgers, the Langley, BC native amassed 51 points (21g, 30a) over 82 games.
Before his collegiate days, the 6’4″, 209-pound forward spent three full seasons in the BCHL, playing junior hockey for the Cowichan Valley Capitals, Surrey Eagles, Vernon Vipers, and Victoria Grizzlies.
Greenville travels to Gas South Arena on Friday and Saturday for the first two of three games against the Atlanta Gladiators, culminating with a Sunday meeting between the two sides at Bon Secours Wellness Arena at 3:05 p.m
