
NY RANGERS SEND D CONNOR MACKEY TO HARTFORD WOLF PACK

HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the club has assigned defenseman Connor Mackey to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack.
Mackey, 29, has skated in 32 games with the Wolf Pack this season, recording seven points (2 g, 5 a) and 54 PIM. He has yet to make his season debut with the Rangers.
Over the course of three seasons in the Connecticut capital, Mackey has appeared in 142 games with the club, recording 42 points (10 g, 32 a). He has dressed in three games with the Rangers during that time.
The native of Tower Lakes, IL has appeared in 42 career NHL games with the Rangers, Arizona Coyotes, and Calgary Flames. He has recorded eleven career points (4 g, 7 a) in the NHL.
HARTFORD WOLF PACK RECALL D CHRIS ORTIZ FROM LOAN TO ECHL’S BLOOMINGTON BISON
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers Associate General Manager and Hartford Wolf Pack General Manager Ryan Martin announced today that the club has recalled defenseman Chris Ortiz from loan to the ECHL’s Bloomington Bison.
Ortiz, 24, has recorded one assist in 12 games as a member of the Wolf Pack this season. He has also skated in four games with the Bison, notching three assists.
He scored a career-high 34 assists and 39 points (5 g, 34 a) in 45 games with the ECHL’s Wheeling Nailers during the 2024-25 season. He also skated in one game with the AHL’s Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
The native of Boisbriand, QC, inked a professional tryout agreement (PTO) with the AHL’s Providence Bruins on Feb. 19, 2025, and spent the remainder of the season with the club. He skated in 23 games with the Bruins, recording seven assists.
The 6’, 185-pound defenseman has appeared in 59 career AHL contests with the Wolf Pack, Bruins and Penguins, scoring 13 points (1 g, 12 a).
NEW YORK RANGERS ASSIGN ANTON BLIDH TO WOLF PACK
HARTFORD, CT – New York Rangers President and General Manager Chris Drury announced today that the club has assigned forward Anton Blidh to the AHL’s Hartford Wolf Pack.
Blidh, 30, has skated in 28 games with the Wolf Pack this season, scoring seven points (3 g, 4 a). He’s also skated in two games with the Rangers.
Blidh set career-high marks in goals (19), assists (17), points (36) and PIM (109) during the 2024-25 season in Hartford.
Over parts of four seasons with the Wolf Pack, the native of Mölnlycke, SWE, has appeared in 180 games and recorded 71 points (36 g, 35 a). He has skated in 87 career NHL games with the Rangers, Colorado Avalanche, and Boston Bruins, recording 12 points (4 g, 8 a).
