GREENVILLE, SC – The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that defenseman Cullen Eddy has been recalled by the Adirondack Phantoms of the American Hockey League.
Assigned to the Road Warriors by the Phantoms on October 18, Eddy has racked up 11 points (3G, 8A) in 12 games for Greenville this season. The 6-0, 195-pound blueliner is tied for the league lead in points by a defenseman while he is second in the league with seven points (2G, 5A) on the power play.
A second year pro, Eddy has 15 points (4G, 11A) in 28 career games with the Road Warriors. He spent a majority of his rookie season with the Phantoms and picked up 10 points (3G, 7A) and 40 penalty minutes in 47 games. He began this season in Adirondack and had an assist in two games prior to coming to Greenville.
Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return home to face the Gwinnett Gladiators on Thursday, December 8 at 7:35 p.m. at the BI-LO Center.
