According to Dubi Silverstein who has his fingers on the pulse of the Rangers training camp, he reports at our parent site, Blueshirt Bulletin, the most up to date information on who’s headed where.
Thomas Pock played himself out of an NHL job — he is joining Artem Anisimov, Greg Moore, Bobby Sanguinetti, Andreas Jamtin, Dane Byers, Brodie Dupont, P.A. Parenteau, Dale Weise, and all the members of the taxi squad in being re-assigned to Hartford today as the Wolf Pack begin their training camp.
Still competing for the seventh defense slot are Corey Potter and Brian Fahey. Five forwards are still competing for the four remaining roster spots on the wing — Aaron Voros, Dan Fritsche, Lauri Korpikoski, Pat Rissmiller, and Freddie Sjostrom.
Dubi adds in an email to Howlings that the taxi squad consists of “Busto, Murray, Denisov, Urquhart, Hiller, Soryal, Ouellette, Zaborsky, Pyatt, Owens, Skokan, Demagin, Barnes, Mike Taylor, Zaba, and Lafleur. No specific word on try-outs Messier and Dowzak, so we can assume that their try-outs are continuing, until we hear otherwise. Jessiman is also Hartford bound.”
Here’s the official release:
