WOLF PACK DELETE THREE FROM ROSTER
Hartford Wolf Pack general manager Jim Schoenfeld today announced three changes to the Wolf Pack roster.
The Wolf Pack have loaned defenseman Jared Nightingale to their ECHL affiliate, the Charlotte Checkers. Fellow blueliner Julien Brouillette has been released from his Professional Tryout (PTO) agreement and will return to Charlotte, and the Wolf Pack have also released forward Derek Couture from his PTO.
Nightingale skated in 51 games with the Wolf Pack this season, scoring an AHL career-high three goals and adding six assists for nine points, and was Even in plus/minus with 156 penalty minutes, the third-highest total on the team. In 16 ECHL games with the Checkers, the fourth-year pro had one goal and five assists for six points, along with 52 PIM.
Brouillette logged 21 games of action with the Wolf Pack and contributed one goal and three assists for four points. He was Even in plus/minus and had four PIM. Brouillette also played in three AHL games with the Providence Bruins, registering one assist and a +1, and had 13 goals and 20 assists for 33 points, along with 23 penalty minutes, in 47 games with Charlotte.
Couture played 67 games with the Wolf Pack this year, chipping in 11 goals and nine assists for 20 points and serving 104 minutes in penalties. Prior to joining the Wolf Pack on Halloween, Couture had five assists in four ECHL outings with the Checkers.
