JOHNSON TO TEAM CANADA

Hartford Wolf Pack CT Lottery Sportsnet.ca is reporting that Hartford Wolf Pack goaltender Chad Johnson has been added to Team Canada by General Manager Mark Messier for the upcoming IIHF World Hockey Championship.

Johnson had an up and down rookie campaign for the Rangers top farm club. He also played in a few NHL games with the Rangers after Steve Valiquette’s game disappeared.

Team Canada plays their first exhibition game on Tuesday.

The IIHF World Championships begin next week.
