UPDATE:
Andrew Gross tweets that White and Kennedy will not be sent to Hartford. Larry Brooks tweets that he expects someone to pick up Kennedy.

According to Andrew Gross (Bergen Record), Larry Brooks (New York Post) and Steve Zipay (Newsday), both Tim Kennedy and Todd White have been put on waivers. If they clear waivers they will report to Hartford which will make the Rangers top farm team that much stronger as both should dominate at the AHL level.
What will be interesting to see is if both actually DO clear waivers. Teams have until noon tomorrow to put in a claim.
By the way, if they do clear that will add another $2,925,000 to the Pack’s payroll. Add in the $6.5mm going to Wade Redden and this would have to be some sort of a payroll record.
All signs seem to point to the Rangers making a trade for an experiened left-handed defenseman. Could Sheldon Souray possibly be on the radar? Could Michael Sauer be on the table? He can’t come to Hartford unless he passes through waivers which is unlikely so he might be going. WE’ll just have to wait and see.
