ROAD WARRIORS ANNOUNCE PLAYOFF ROSTER

GREENVILLE, SC The Greenville Road Warriors announced today their 2011 Kelly Cup Playoff roster. The roster is comprised of 23 players; two goalies, eight defensemen, and 13 forwards.

The Road Warriors begin their best-of-five first round series against the Elmira Jackals at 7:05 p.m. at First Arena on Tuesday, April 5. Game Two is also at First Arena on Wednesday, April 6 at 7:05. Games Three, Four (if necessary), and Five (if necessary) will be played at the BI-LO Center in Greenville on April 8, 9, and 11. All Road Warriors home playoff games begin at 7:35 p.m. Individual tickets are on sale right now through the BI-LO Center Box Office, www.ticketmaster.com, 1-800-TICKETMASTER, and all Ticketmaster outlets and start as low as $9. Groups of 10 or more are eligible for discounted tickets and preferred seating based on availability. Group outings can be booked by calling 864-674-PUCK.

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
