BOWERS BACK IN TOWN

The Greenville Road Warriors announced today that center Justin Bowers has returned to the team from the Milwaukee Admirals of the American Hockey League.

Bowers played two games with the Admirals before returning home. He is the Road Warriors’ leader in points (57) and assists (43) which rank tied for second and first in the ECHL, respectively. Bowers also leads the league in power play points (24) and power play assists (20). Bowers is the reigning ECHL Player of the Month after notching a league-best 28 points (10G, 18A) over 15 games in January.

Bowers is expected to be in lineup for Saturday nights game against the Wings at 7:05 p.m.

Mark your calendars! The Road Warriors return home on Saturday, February 11, 2012 to take on the Kalamazoo Wings. Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
