BISON SIGN FORWARDS DENIS AND ROBIDOUX

Bloomington, Ill. – Bloomington Bison Head Coach and Vice President of Hockey Operations, Phillip Barski, announced today that the team has signed forwards Lou-Felix Denis and Mikael Robidoux to ECHL standard player contracts.

Denis, 22, was acquired from the Reading Royals on March 2, 2025, after putting up 16 points (6g, 10a) in 50 games, and finished the season by adding 10 points (6g, 4a) in 18 games with the Bison. The 5-foot-10, 172-pound winger turned pro following a four-year junior career in the QMJHL, where he totaled 113 points (47g, 66a) in 197 games with the Shawinigan Cataractes and Halifax Mooseheads.

Robidoux, 26, appeared in 13 games for the Bison after being acquired from the Greenville Swamp Rabbits on February 26, 2025. The 5-foot-11, 201-pound right winger totaled 36 penalty minutes with Bloomington. In all, the product of La Prairie, Quebec, has logged 885 penalty minutes and 40 points (19g, 21a) in 195 career ECHL games.

Mitch Beck was a standup comedian and radio personality for over 25 years. His passion for hockey started with Team USA in 1980 when they defeated the Soviets at Lake Placid. He has also worked in hockey as a coach and administrator. He also works for USA Hockey as a Coach Developer. Mitch has been reporting on the New York Rangers, and exclusively on the Hartford Wolf Pack since 2005.
