WOLF PACK GET TWO NAMED AS 2024 AHL ALL-STARS

HARTFORD, CT – The American Hockey League announced today the rosters for the 2024 AHL All-Star Classic presented by Tech CU. Hartford Wolf Pack forward Brennan Othmann and defenseman Mac Hollowell have been selected to represent the club on the Atlantic Division’s roster.

Othmann, 21, has scored 23 points (9 g, 14 a) in 28 games with the Wolf Pack during his rookie North American campaign. His 23 points rank him fourth on the Wolf Pack in scoring and tied for ninth in the AHL among rookies.

Additionally, Othmann’s nine goals have him tied for 12th in the AHL among rookies, and his 14 assists are tied for ninth among all rookies league-wide.

Hollowell, 25, has appeared in 26 games in his first season with the Wolf Pack, scoring 26 points (1 g, 25 a). His 25 assists are a new career-high, while his 26 points tie his previous career-high from the 2021-22 season (45 games).

Hollowell currently ranks tied for fourth in the AHL in assists and sits second in the league among defensemen in that category. He leads the Wolf Pack in assists and is second on the team in points.

Othmann and Hollowell join a lengthy list of Wolf Pack players to be selected to represent the team in the AHL All-Star Classic, including D Zac Jones (2022-23), G Igor Shesterkin (2019-20), D Ryan Graves (2015-16), F J.T. Miller (2012-13), F Artem Anisimov (2008-09), D Dan Girardi (2006-07), F Ryan Callahan (2006-07), G Al Montoya (2005-06), D Fedor Tyutin (2003-04), F Derek Armstrong (1998-99, 1999-00, 2000-01) and F Ken Gernander (1998-99, 1999-00).

The 2024 AHL All-Star Classic will occur on Sunday, February 4th, and Monday, February 5th, at Tech CU Arena in San Jose, CA.

The Wolf Pack concluded their four-game road trip on Friday night when they visited the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. The puck drop is set for 7:05 p.m., with coverage available on AHLTV & Mixlr.

Hartford’s first home game in 2024 will be on Saturday, January 13th, as they host the Providence Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available at hartfordwolfpack.com.
